In this class we are going to learn how and how much we can separate normative issues (is gvt spending too high or too little in general?) from positive issues (given the goals that we ascribe to gvt, is money spent efficiently, are policies optimal?)

This course, Earth Resources Natural Hazards and Environment, is a three credit hour Environmental Sciences second semester course. It emphasizes on concepts of the planet earth origin, its spheres,  Environmental impact of mineral, energy and water resource exploitation and impact of hazardous Earth processes such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and others: their prediction and mitigation.
